Beaches

West Cornwall is truly blessed with a vast array of gorgeous beaches.
Sennen, Porthcumo, Praa Sands, Marazion and Porthmeor are all within a short drive of our campsite, giving you the chance to enjoy some of the best surfing and beaches the UK has to offer.

Walking

If you enjoy walking and the great outdoors, you’ll love our campsite!
Botallack is situated on the UNESCO World Heritage Coastline showcasing some truly spectacular scenery!
Parts of BBC 1’s Poldark was filmed at West Wheal Owles, 2 minutes walk from our farm.


Local Food

Our village pub The Queens Arms, is a 2 minute walk away, offering freshly cooked local produce and delicious homemade dishes, the next village of St Just (1 mile away) has traditional Cornish inns which also serve freshly cooked food.
The wider area has a lovely selection of top rated restaurants especially along the St Ives Harbour front.

For the kids

Lands End landmark is 15 Minutes away, offering loads of family fun.
They have a firework spectacular usually every Tuesday & Thursday throughout August.
From Escape rooms, Seal sanctuary, Virtual reality, and Go carting there’s plenty more to see and do nearby.

Fishing

Cornwall is a great place to go fishing, there’s plenty of beaches, coves, and piers to cast from.
There is a tight knit angling community in Penzance, who are lucky enough to have a great local tackle shop. Boat fishing trips are available from the harbour.

Shopping

The vibrant and beautiful market town of Penzance has an eclectic mix of Independent shops restaurants and cafes as well familiar retailers found on the highstreet.
